New incoming order: operation of existing biowaste composting plant in Luxemburg

Syndicat Minett-Kompost (Luxemburg) commissioned the joint venture, consisting of STRABAG Umweltanlagen GmbH and SOVACOM S.a.r.l, a subsidiary of LAMESCH S.A. (part of SUEZ group) to operate the existing biowaste composting plant and the newly constructed digestion plant in Mondercange (Luxemburg).
The contract volume for operating both plants amounts 14 Mio EURO for a duration of 5 years (optional extension for additional 5 years).
The newly constructed digestion plant contains of a continuous dry digestion applying the established STRABAG process in the LARAN® plug flow digester. The generated biogas is upgraded to natural gas quality by a pressureless amine scrubbing (BCM® -process), and is feed into the gas network.
