Specific technology and Process Know-how

With over 500 environmental plants for biogas production and wastewater treatment as well as flue gas and waste air purification completed worldwide, STRABAG Umweltanlagen GmbH can access on a comprehensive know-how base in environmental technology. This enables us to offer not only core technologies for digestion/ biogas production but also to provide optimized solutions for specific requirements of related technologies such as wastewater and exhaust air treatment as well as the processing and use of biogas. So we have at disposal not only own pa-tented technology for biogas desulphurization as e.g. our biochemical H2S-reduction in the LARAN® reactor or the experiences from realization of different plants for: – treatment of obtained wastewater (nitrification/denitrification, NH3-stripping, membrane biology, reverse osmosis) – processing of obtained digestion residuals by composting – locally specific exhaust air and waste gas treatment – solid- /liquid separation and dewatering with the help of different separation techniques (decanter centrifuge, screw-press separator, belt press, chamber filter press)
